Dr. Kartikey Singh is a highly skilled ophthalmologist specializing in vitreo-retinal diseases, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery. He completed his MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious M & J RIO, BJMC Ahmedabad, followed by a Fellowship in Advanced Phaco Techniques (FAPT) under Carl Zeiss, Gujarat, and a Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery (FVRS) from the esteemed MM Joshi Eye Institute (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences – RGUHS, Bangalore). He also holds a Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO, UK).
Dr. Singh possesses advanced expertise in the medical and surgical management of vitreo-retinal diseases, including macular surgery and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). He is also highly proficient in complex cataract surgery and refractive surgical procedures.
He has presented at numerous national and international conferences, contributing significantly to the field with various publications and paper presentations. A member of several state and national ophthalmological societies, Dr. Singh has also organized numerous ophthalmology summits and is actively involved in community service.
Dr. Singh’s extensive experience includes over 5,000 complex vitreo-retinal surgeries, more than 20,000 intravitreal injections, and over 20,000 complicated and premium lens implantation cataract surgeries. He also has significant experience in refractive surgery, encompassing LASIK, PRK, ICL, IPCL, and Bioptics procedures.
Currently, Dr. Singh serves as a Consultant in Vitreo-Retina, Cataract, Refractive, Uveitis, and ROP Services at ASG Eye Hospitals, Varanasi. Performing over 100 retinal surgeries monthly, he holds the highest volume in the region, exceeding 1,000 vitreo-retinal surgeries annually. Since October 1, 2022, he has been training long-term vitreo-retinal fellows and, since January 2023, has offered short-term international observer fellowships.
