Eye Donation Process

Register Your Pledge

Complete the Eye Donation Pledge Form online or visit your nearest Eye Bank to register your willingness.

Inform Your Family

Share your decision with your family members. Their support and consent at the time of donation are essential.

Call the Eye Bank Helpline Immediately

After the donor's demise, family members should immediately contact the nearest Eye Bank. Eye retrieval should ideally take place within 4–6 hours after death.

Eye Retrieval by Certified Technician

A trained Eye Retrieval Technician will visit the location and respectfully retrieve the donated eyes within 4–6 hours. The procedure is safe and does not delay funeral rituals.

Cornea Processing & Sight Restoration

The retrieved corneas are processed at the nearest Eye Bank and then allocated to suitable recipients for keratoplasty, helping restore vision.
