Dr. Madhvendra Singh Ahirwar is a skilled Ophthalmologist with magnificent experience in eye surgeries. He has done his MBBS from VSSMCH medical college Burla, Sambalpur Odisha. He did his masters in ophthalmology from prestigious Regional Institute of ophthalmology(RIO,IMS) BHU, Varanasi. Further he worked as a senior resident in Rama medical College, hospital and research Centre Hapur, Ghaziabad. Afterwards to gain more proficiency in surgery he has done short term fellowship in phacoemulsification from prestigious and renowned Susrut eye foundation and research Centre, Kolkata. He worked as consultant ophthalmologist at charitable trust St. Mary’s hospital lohta, Varanasi and Ayodhya eye hospital, Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. His interests include mainly cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma, cornea, and anterior segment. He has immense experience in treating anterior segment pathologies and has also performed numerous cataract surgeries.
Apart from his clinical expertise he is also actively involved in academic and research work. He has presented various academic papers at various national and international forums. He is a member of various prestigious councils and societies such as all India ophthalmological society(AIOS), Indian Society of Cornea & Keratorefractive Surgeons (ISCKRS) and U.P state www ophthalmological society(UPSOS).
