Dr. Suvira Jain is an experienced ophthalmologist with 30 years of experience, specialising in refractive cataract surgery. She trained and worked in the United Kingdom before returning to India to pursue her full-time ophthalmic practice. Over her career, she has performed 95,000+ cataract surgeries and 1,000+ corneal transplant procedures, with a patient-centric approach based on compassion, empathy and personalised care.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Suvira Jain is actively involved in ophthalmic research and teaching. She has presented 200+ research papers focusing on cataract and corneal surgical procedures and has performed 25+ live cataract surgeries at ophthalmic conferences across Europe and Asia. Her academic involvement reflects her commitment to advancing surgical knowledge and sharing clinical expertise with other ophthalmic professionals.
