About DR. MILAP VAGHELA

Dr. Milap Vaghela is a consultant Ophthalmologist with the working experience of 10 years in the same field. He has completed his MBBS from Baroda Medical College (The MS University) before joining Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, civil Hospital, Ahmedabad for his Post Graduate training in Ophthalmology.

After completion of MS with flying colors, He went to prestigious LV PRASAD EYE INSTITUTE, Hyderabad for fellowship for advanced technology for Cataract and Refractive surgery. He is also a fellow of INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF OPHTHALMOLOGY (UK). After spending few years in special training, he has been working in ASG Eye Hospital for last couple of years.

He is expert in various methods of Cataract surgeries along with a vast experience of Premium Intraocular lenses. He has an excellent clinical acumen in choosing proper lens for his patients. (Trifocal, Multifocal, EDOF, TORIC). He has performed more than 15000 Cataract surgeries, majority of which are topical phacoemulsification. He has also performed more than 5000 Q LASIKs and many ICLs along with BIOPTICS and monovisions.

Most of his patients are happy without glasses after Cataract surgery. Remove glasses of the patients is his passion. He is also looking after Glaucoma department. He has made appearances is various conferences and is constantly updating his skills time to time.
