Dr. Mahima Bankar is a highly experienced ophthalmologist with over a decade of expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. She holds an MS in Ophthalmology from Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences and has further specialized through a Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus (FPOS) from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry.
She also served as a consultant at S V Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirupati, where she gained extensive hands-on experience in managing diverse and complex eye cases.
Her core expertise lies in treating paediatric eye disorders and squint (strabismus) conditions, including paediatric cataracts, amblyopia, ocular palsies, nystagmus, and other complex squint cases. Dr. Bankar is also skilled in performing advanced cataract surgeries in adults, including topical phacoemulsification with premium intraocular lenses (IOLs).
