Dr. Satish Sharma has more than 9 years of working experience in ophthalmology. He has completed his MBBS from Shri B.M. Patil Medical College Hospital & research Centre, Bijapur (Karnataka) and Masters from Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur (Chhattisgarh). He did his fellowship in Cataract (Phacoemulsification) surgery and fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus, Neuro-ophthalmology from prestigious Sankara Nethralaya.
Dr. Satish Sharma specializes in Cataract (Phacoemulsification) surgery, Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus with a keen interest in Pediatric cataract, Squint surgery and Premium IOLs (Multifocal, Toric) surgery. He has vast experience of doing more than 3000+ adult cataract (Phacoemulsification) surgery under topical anesthesia. He has performed successfully more than 500+ Pediatric cataract surgeries and successfully corrected squint in more than 500+ patients.
He has also experience in managing diabetic retinopathies which includes administration intravitreal injections and retinal laser procedures.
Apart from the clinical experience he has also done many presentations at local and national conferences, involved in many academic exercises evident from his publications.
