About Dr. Shailen Patel
Dr Shailen Patel is a senior consultant ophthalmologist with an experience of 10 years. He has completed his MBBS from Government Medical college, Surat and DNB Ophthalmology from MGM Eye Institute, Raipur.
He has mastered the art of Cataract surgery and complicated challenging cataract cases . He has vast experience of Topical premium cataract surgery with FemtoSecond Laser surgery, Trifocal, EDOF, Toric & Multifocal IOLs. He has performed more than 10,000 cataract surgeries majority of which are topical ( without injection) cases.
He is the master of Refractive surgery which includes Q LASIK, FEMTO LASIK ( BLADELESS surgery) , TRANS PRK, ICL and Bioptics.
Giving the freedom from the glasses to each LASIK patient and also cataract surgeries patient is his passion and aim. He is also highly skilled in managing Keratoconus cases with C3R surgery.
He has been awarded with best PG free paper award during annual CSOS conference in 2016. He has trained many ophthalmologist for cataract and LASIK surgery.
He has made appearances in many state and national Conferences and constantly updating his armamentarium.
